Amar Marz Andrades is a passionate Afro-Latino filmmaker and photographer from the vibrant island of El Borikén, also known as Puerto Rico. With a deep connection to his roots, Amar's cinematic eye serves as both a creative outlet and a medium to capture the essence of the world through his unique lens. His work is driven by the belief that every photograph tells a story—one that brings new perspectives, emotions, and voices to the forefront.

After recently recieving his Associates at Florida State College at Jacksonville, Amar is honing his craft and expanding his artistic vision. His journey as a photographer began with capturing the energy and raw moments of local events, such as Riffs and Runs, a karaoke event that marked one of his first professional gigs. From there, Amar has gone on to explore the city of Jacksonville through his personal shots, documenting the pulse of the urban landscape. Additionally, he's collaborated with local artists and friends, bringing their creative visions to life through intimate photo shoots.

Whether it's exploring the city's streets, capturing dynamic live events, or highlighting the spirit of the people around him, Amar's films and photography focuses on telling stories that are often overlooked, but always powerful.

With every shot, Amar continues to expand his craft, blending technical skill with a personal touch, and sharing his perspective with the world.
